Private dentistry that takes its time

One small clinic. Appointments booked by the hour, and a written plan before anything starts.

01The clinic

We stayed small on purpose, and we intend to stay that way because a clinic only feels private when the person treating you already knows what you said last time.

02Why patients move

The things that make a clinic worth staying with

An hour, not fifteen minutes

First appointments run a full hour. You will not be handed a leaflet and asked to rebook for the actual conversation.

The quote is the bill

Costs are itemised and signed off before we pick anything up. Nothing new appears at the desk on your way out.

You see what we see

Scans and photographs go up on the screen beside you, in language that does not need a glossary.

Five clinicians, that is all

No rota of locums. The dentist who plans your treatment is the one who carries it out and the one who checks it after.

04Six specialties

Six specialties, all of them under this roof

A plan that crosses three disciplines still only asks you to build one relationship, and nothing gets referred across town.

Implantology

Titanium roots placed where a tooth is missing, then restored with a crown made to match the ones either side of it.

Orthodontics

Clear aligners and fixed braces for adults and teenagers, planned digitally so you see the finish before you start.

Prosthodontics

Crowns, bridges, veneers and dentures, designed and fitted to rebuild what wear, decay or an accident took away.

Oral surgery

Extractions, wisdom teeth and minor surgical work, carried out in the clinic with sedation available throughout.

Root canal therapy

Infected pulp removed under a microscope, the canals cleaned and sealed, and the tooth kept rather than lost.

Restorative dentistry

Fillings, inlays and onlays that put back the shape and strength of a tooth, colour matched so they disappear.

05Nervous patients

1 in 3

Of our patients call themselves nervous

Being frightened of this is completely normal

Very little of dental fear is actually about pain. It is about not knowing what is happening, how long it will take, or what it will cost. All three of those are things we can simply tell you, and we do, before anything begins.

  • Tell us you are nervous when you book, and the whole visit changes shape
  • A raised hand stops everything, every time, no explanation needed
  • Nitrous oxide is offered as standard, and IV sedation for longer work
  • Nothing is started on the day you first hear about it
06Who treats you

The same three faces, every visit

Between them they have looked after some of our patients for the better part of two decades.

Dr. Nadia Ferreira
DMD, FAGDPrincipal dentist

Dr. Nadia Ferreira

Opened the clinic in 2007 and still sees every new patient at their first appointment. Cosmetic and full mouth cases.

Dr. Tobias Lund
DDS, MSImplant surgeon

Dr. Tobias Lund

Plans every implant case from the scan up, places it, and restores it. Single teeth through to full arches.

Dr. Amara Okafor
BDS, MOrthOrthodontist

Dr. Amara Okafor

Runs the aligner and brace list for adults and teenagers, including the alignment that comes before restorative work.

07Your visit

Four steps, and you always know which one you are on

  1. 01

    The first hour

A full examination, an intraoral scan and photographs, and enough time left over to say what actually bothers you about your teeth.

  2. 02

    A plan on paper

Options written out with costs and timings, including leaving it alone where that is the honest answer. You take it home before you decide.

  3. 03

    Treatment, your pace

Visits grouped around your diary rather than ours, sedation available at any stage, and a call from us the evening of anything surgical.

  4. 04

    Keeping it there

A hygiene interval set by your own risk rather than a default six months, with the reminder coming to you.

08In their words

Six people who had put it off for years

4.9 / 5480 verified reviews

I spent about fifteen years keeping my mouth shut in photographs. Dr. Ferreira used the whole first appointment just asking what I wanted to look like. Nobody had ever asked me that.
Sophia TurnerVeneers
Scanned, quoted and booked inside one visit. What I paid at the end was what was written on the plan at the start.
Daniel BrooksImplant
I am a properly nervous patient and not once has anyone here made me feel silly about it. They tell me what is coming before they do it, every single time, without me having to ask.
Priya RamanHygiene
Fourteen months of aligners and every review was on the day they said. I never once had to chase anybody.
Ryan MitchellClear aligners
Snapped a molar on a Saturday morning, seen before lunch. That is the reason I moved the whole family across.
Olivia CarterEmergency
The place looks more like a decent hotel than a surgery, but it is very obviously the clinical side they care most about.

09Questions

What people want to know before they ring

How do I get a first appointment?

Call us or fill in the booking form. You will be offered a full hour, usually inside the same week. We ask for a short medical history in advance so that the hour itself goes on you rather than on paperwork.

What does the first visit cost?

The first appointment is $95 and covers the examination, the scan and the photographs. If you go ahead with treatment, that $95 comes off the total. Reading through a plan you got somewhere else costs nothing.

Do you take dental insurance?

We take most major PPO plans and submit the claims for you. We are not an HMO provider. If you are unsure what your policy covers, send us the details before you book and we will tell you plainly what it will and will not pay.

I have avoided the dentist for years. Is that a problem?

No, and you are far from unusual. Roughly a third of the people who walk in here say the same thing. Say so when you book and we will give you a longer appointment, agree a stop signal, and go at whatever pace you set.

Can I spread the cost?

Anything over $1,000 can go over twelve months at nought percent, subject to a soft credit check that leaves no mark on your file. Larger cases can run longer.

What happens if something breaks at the weekend?

We keep slots free every day for pain and breakages. Registered patients get a call back inside an hour during opening times, and the phone line gives you the on-call number outside them.
